Sil-Pro specializes in custom molded and extruded silicone primarily for the medical device industry. All manufacturing operations are performed in a certified class 10,000 clean room environment and the company is ISO 9001:2008 certified. Sil-Pro offers LIM, Transfer and Compression molding of LSR and HCR silicone rubbers from prototype through medium to high volume production quantities.

Automation Molding

Sil-Pro in-house automation/engineering team can design, manufacture, and program equipment to enhance medium to high volume silicone part production. This state-of-the-art, fully automated molding facility at Sil-Pro allows for a more repeatable, higher quality parts with less scrap and lower fallout than a manual operation would produce. Many of Sil-Pro’s cells perform multiple operations from; Molding, part removal, De-flashing, Post-curing, Slitting, and Camera Inspection all in one work cell, all in the class 10,000 clean room, all with no human operator or inspector; lights out 24/7. In-house tooling capabilities

From prototype to production molds, Sil-Pro starts with the latest CAD/CAM/CAE software, beginning with Mold Flow Analysis for both silicone and engineered thermoplastics. We complete Part, Tool and Automation designs using SolidWorks. We utilize the latest machining technology, including: Robotically tended High Speed Machining up to 40,000rpm, equipped with laser tool calibration and touch probe verification, Sinker and Wire EDM.  We use universal fixturing systems for process to process repeatability.  We stock both pre-hard and hardened stainless steel inserts for rapid deliveries for urgent tooling requests.  Our expert Tooling and Engineering staff can assist with part design to high volume manufacturing solutions. Silicone Extrusion

Sil-Pro also offers silicone extruded tubing from ID/OD to multi-lumen, solid rod, and profile.
